The bond between Bangladesh and Germany continues to grow stronger. Germany is Bangladesh’s second-largest trading partner, with bilateral trade surpassing €9 billion. Around 20% of Germany’s textile imports originate from Bangladesh. Encouragingly, our cooperation has expanded well beyond textiles into emerging sectors such as agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, and logistics — a clear reflection of Bangladesh’s rise as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.
