Strengthening Bangladesh–Germany Economic Ties 
The Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BGCCI) had the privilege of convening a strategic meeting between its Board of Directors, led by the Honorable President Mr. Md. Rokonuzzaman, FCA and Mr. Rahat Bin Zaman, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Berlin.
The engagement served as a constructive platform for exchanging perspectives on strengthening bilateral economic relations and enhancing the overall business climate between Bangladesh and Germany. The discussion addressed a range of priority issues faced by the business community, including visa facilitation, L/C and sales contract settlements, work permit renewals, tendering procedures, taxation frameworks, and matters related to Double Taxation Avoidance (DTA).
The meeting also explored avenues for deepening institutional collaboration through the organization of business summits and the promotion of inbound and outbound trade delegations, aimed at fostering greater connectivity and unlocking new opportunities for trade and investment.
