BGCCI was pleased to host Mrs. Mareen Haring, Representative for South-East Asia from Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), at the BGCCI office for a constructive discussion with the office bearers on 10 March, 2026.
The meeting focused on presenting the activities and initiatives of BGCCI, exchanging views on the current state and outlook of the Bangladeshi economy, and exploring opportunities to further strengthen economic and investment cooperation between Bangladesh and Germany. Particular emphasis was placed on Bangladesh’s growing potential as an attractive destination for German investors, especially in the sectors such as manufacturing, textiles, renewable energy, and technology.
Both sides also discussed potential areas of collaboration between BGCCI and GTAI to facilitate stronger business connections, promote investment opportunities, and support German companies interested in exploring the Bangladeshi market.
BGCCI looks forward to continuing this dialogue and working closely with GTAI to further strengthen trade and investment relations between Bangladesh and Germany.
